In Case You Missed It…

More than 1,500 attendees from 11 countries and 25 states attended the 2015 Creativity World Forum in Oklahoma City last week!

In addition to the forum, Creative Oklahoma also organized several pre- and post-forum offerings that helped advance creative connections and learning experiences.

Reverse Mission

Creative Oklahoma provided international delegates from the Districts of Creativity Network the opportunity to learn more about Oklahoma’s “Start-up Frontier” in a three-day creativity and innovation tour of the state which included site visits, panel and roundtable discussions and business-to-business meetings from Sulphur to Tulsa.

cSchool “Your Ideas Matter” Meet-Ups

In January, Creative Oklahoma launched the social media campaign, “Your Ideas Matter,” encouraging a movement to generate new creative solutions to major societal issues leading up to the forum. The morning before the forum, Creative Oklahoma’s cSchool faculty took the conversation offline in a series of creative problem solving meet-ups around downtown Oklahoma City resulting in major ideas that will move forward for discussion and implementation.

2015 Oklahoma Creativity Ambassadors Gala

In conjunction with the Governor of Oklahoma, Creative Oklahoma honors Oklahomans for their national and internationally recognized creative endeavors. The evening of March 30, six Oklahomans received the distinction of being named Oklahoma Creativity Ambassadors to a crowd of 300 at a dinner and program in their honor.

2015 Creativity World Forum

On March 31, Creative Oklahoma hosted the 2015 Creativity World Forum for more than 1,500 attendees. “All Our Futures: Ideas That Matter” was the forum theme with Sir Ken Robinson as the keynote speaker. Additional speakers from business, education and culture shared inspirational talks throughout the day, which also included breakout conversations and workshops, performances, exhibitors and networking opportunities.
