A group of young Oklahoma innovators and entrepreneurs have recently returned from Kortrijk, Belgium after attending the Creativity World Forum where they had the opportunity to connect with creative minds from across the globe.

After showcasing the wide variety of creative pursuits and entrepreneurial disciplines Oklahoma has to offer, Creative Oklahoma has been chosen to host the 2015 Creativity World Forum, replacing the already scheduled State of Creativity Forum on March 31, 2015.

The Creativity World Forum is one of the world’s largest conferences focusing on entrepreneurial creativity and innovation. This year’s theme, “All Our Futures: Ideas That Matter,” based upon Sir Ken Robinson’s inspiring publication “All Our Futures: Creativity, Culture & Education” will be the platform upon which attendees will celebrate and share ideas across multiple disciplines to showcase that everyone has ideas and ideas change everything.

The Forum will be Oklahoma’s fifth such event since hosting the World Creativity Forum in 2010 and is designed to inspire and educate attendees about the importance of creativity. It is a daylong event with pre- and post-Forum educational offerings by Creative Oklahoma’s cSchool.

In addition to Sir Ken Robinson, other speakers include Michael Strautmanis, former Deputy Assistant to the President for Strategic Engagement and current Vice President of Strategic Programs for Corporate Citizenship at the Walt Disney Company; Stephan Turnipseed, President Emeritus and Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships at LEGO Education; and Scott Barry Kaufman, the Scientific Director of The Imagination Institute.

Registration information for the Creativity World Forum will be available soon. Conference admission is 20% off for all Creative Oklahoma members. The Forum and Creative Oklahoma membership are open to all, with special student discounts.
