BE THE NEXT OKLAHOMA CREATIVE COMMUNITY!

BE THE NEXT OKLAHOMA CREATIVE COMMUNITY!

Ready for a better Oklahoma?

Are you a part of an Oklahoma community with citizens who have ideas that matter about improving the local economy and quality of life?

If so, Creative Oklahoma would like to invite you and your colleagues to become a part of our newest initiative, the Oklahoma Creative Communities Project.

Communities who can identify a group of passionate citizens interested in engaging in the Oklahoma Creative Communities Project will receive access to resources that support the community’s efforts to engage citizens to develop and implement their own unique creative ideas and solutions to challenges within their communities. Being part of the Oklahoma Creative Communities Project will also provide a platform to promote unique stories of creativity and innovation from within each community.

Up to ten communities will be selected to participate in the OCC Project and YOUR community could be one of the ten!

Creative Oklahoma will work intently with these communities over a twenty-month time period to cultivate new ideas that contribute to economic growth and societal transformation. We believe that fostering a grassroots network of Creative Communities is essential to the vibrancy of the state and will help Oklahoma become a nationally recognized destination to live, work, and visit.

To join the movement towards a better Oklahoma, click here to take part in our easy two-part application process.

If you wish to discuss the opportunity and brainstorm with other members of your community before submitting an application, you can review the Oklahoma Creative Communities application questions here beforehand.

Any application questions should be made to Stéphanie Coderre Porras, Marketing & Project Manager, at stephanie@creativeoklahoma.org.

Application deadlines are now extended to Monday, February 15th, 2016
